1963 Buick Wildcat Series 4600 Sport Coupe

1963 Buick Wildcat Series 4600 Navigation
The Wildcat was Buick's performance leader, though for 1963, it shared that role with the all-new Riviera. Like its GM sisters, the Olds Starfire, Chevy Impala SS, and Pontiac Catalina 2+2, this was Buick's full-size performance car.

This example was originally sold in Oregon and is one of just 30 delivered in 1963 with a 4-speed manual transmission. In addition, it is equipped with what was known as the 'Super Wildcat configuration' - dual 4-barrel carburetors, hotter cam, snorkel air cleaner, and finned cast aluminum valve covers. This was Buick's most potent combination for the 401 cubic-inch 'Nailhead' V8 affording 360 horsepower. Finished in Granada Red with a white convertible top, it has less than 6,500 miles from new and is the only known surviving Wildcat to have this engine/transmission combination.
