2006 Ford GT Navigation
This Ford GT was delivered new to Lone Star Ford of Houston, Texas in January 2006 wearing a Midnight Blue Metallic exterior with dual painted white racing stripes and Ebony leather interior. It came with all four factory options of BBS Lightweight forged aluminum wheels, grey-painted calipers, a McIntosh audio system, and with racing stripes. The Standard Vehicle Price was $150,000 and the options boosted that by an additional $13,600.
Before its original delivery, the car was modified to incorporate the Aquilon Butterfly door option - as fitted to the aftermarket Ford GTX1. The Aquilon hinges solved the problem of often having inadequate space to open and close the doors. This solution permits full ingress and egress in a fraction of the space required for the standard doors. In place of the original Eaton supercharger, the car was uprated with a Whipple unit which boosted output to around 750 bhp.
