1932 Chrysler Series CL Imperial Convertible Sedan

Chrysler's five-passenger CL Imperial Convertible Sedan was only offered for 1932, and at a price of $3,595, just 49 examples were built of which just 11 are known to exist. The LeBaron coachwork was built to the highest standard and from the highest quality materials, including walnut interior trim. The power was from a 384.84 cubic-inch inline eight-cylinder engine with a Stromberg 2V EE-3 Carburetor and offering 125 horsepower at 3,200 RPM. It was paired with a three-speed manual transmission and stopping power was via four-wheel hydraulic power vacuum-assisted drum brakes.

This particular example was in the care of the same family from 1947 through 2021, and it is said that the owner acquired it when he was 16 and kept it his entire life. The car was refinished in maroon during the later years of the car's previous ownership. The color scheme was similar to the original color, with a complementary white interior and tan cloth top.
