1966 Ferrari 330 GT Coupe

The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was a four-seat grand touring coupe introduced in 1964 and powered by a four-liter twelve-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed gearbox with overdrive. The styling by Pininfarina featured slim roof pillars, an airy greenhouse, a long hood, and initially - a four-headlight arrangement. The Series II arrived for 1965 with numerous improvements including a return to Ferrari's classic two-headlight arrangement along with revised turn signals, fuel filler relocation, three-piece bumpers with rubber-faced guards, and standard cast alloy wheels. A modernized five-speed gearbox replaced the previous four-speed unit, and Borrani wire wheels were available upon request.

This particular Ferrari is one of 424 left-hand-drive Series II models built. It wears a blue exterior with gray leather upholstery and was delivered new to Mr. Simons in San Francisco. The 330 GT 2+2 eventually relocated to Southern California and resided in the care of Thomas Mirich Jr. for more than a decade. In 2003, Ferrari North America selected this car to take part in the debut of the 612 Scaglietti – the 330 GT 2+2's modern-day counterpart.

The current caretaker has treated this Ferrari to a multi-year comprehensive restoration with costs in excess of $300,000.
