1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R Coupe

The Nissan R33-generation Skyline GT-R arrived in 1995 and served as a successor to the R32. Although the official marketing materials stated that it produced 300 horsepower, the output had been limited to 276 brake horsepower. The R32's performance in early 1990s Australian motorsport helped it earn the nickname 'Godzilla, the monster from Japan.' Its popularity was further boosted with appearances in the first few Fast & Furious films of the 2000s, along with its R34 successor which was notably driven by the late Paul Walker.

This particular Nissan Skyline GT-R is a right-hand-drive example (like all examples) and was delivered new to its first owner in Japan. It is equipped with ATTESA all-wheel drive and is finished in its factory-original finish of Midnight Purple over a two-tone gray interior. Power is sourced from the RB26DETT engine - a 2.6-liter, twin-turbocharged, twin-cam, 24-valve inline-six engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Described as a 'bone stock,' original example, it currently has fewer than 1,590 kilometers on its odometer. Residents of the United States were unable to lay claim to their own R33 until recently, with the 25-year historic import rule, it can now be imported legally. This example has recently arrived in the U.S. from the custodian's collection in Hong Kong.
