1942 Chrysler Series C-34 Six Royal Coupe

1942 Chrysler Series C-34 Six Navigation
This Chrysler Royal Six 2-Door Business Coupe was built just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The company ended production of automobiles on February 9, 1942 switching over to the production of airplane engines, tanks and other munitions for the war effort just weeks later. The Business Coupe was Chrysler's least expensive car at $1,075, marking the first time that Chrysler did not have a car priced under $1,000. Business coupes had no rear seat to accommodate a larger trunk for the traveling salesman's supplies. Finished in its original color of Newport Blue, this is one of just 479 coupes built for 1941; and according to the owner, one of just ten that remain across all four Chrysler lines. It is highly optioned including leather interior, radio, clock, heater, wheel trim rings, white wall tires, fender skirts and a special steering wheel.
