Bill Devin owned and raced Ferraris in California in the 1950s. Not unlike others, he was intrigued with a new material called fiberglass and set about developing his own powerful, lightweight sports racers. Devin Enterprises offered kits and completed cars from 1955 to 1964 and any similarity to a certain Italian automaker in the design of the bodies was . . . purely intentional. His well-made, lightweight fiberglass bodies were designed to replace steel bodies of existing sports cars and his use of modular shared molds allowed Devin to offer bodies in 27 different sizes. This Devin is based on a 1958 Triumph TR3 and was constructed in the early 1960s. It is powered by a 95hp 1991cc Triumph 4-cylinder engine. The chassis is fitted with Devin's 295 body.
