2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Convertible

Pontiac celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Firebird in 2002 with a special Collector Edition to commemorate the final year of the model's production. Only offered in Pontiac Collector Yellow and featuring a special black and silver graphics package along with black five-spoke wheels, the high-performance WS6 variant had an Ebony leather interior and unique seat stitching to match the Collector Edition badges on the exterior. Approximately 2,400 Collector Edition cars were built, with nearly half in coupe and half in convertible body styles.

This particular 2002 Firebird Collector Edition was sold new at Schaefer Motor Sales of Racine, Wisconsin, to its first owner, Robert Lozins. It left the factory with traction control, a six-speed manual transmission with a factory-installed Hurst shifter were specified, and a 346 cubic-inch overhead V8 engine with electronic fuel injection and 325 horsepower at 5,200 RPM. The front suspension is independent with coil-over shock absorbers, while the rear uses a live axle with coil-over shock absorbers.

Mr. Lozin retained the Pontiac until September 2017, when it entered the care of its current owner. Currently, the car has 2,052 miles on its odometer.
