1992 Porsche 968 Coupe

The front-engine, rear-wheel-drive Porsche 968 Sports Car was a development of the S3 generation of the Porsche 944, with evolved styling sourced from the 993-generation 911, and equipped ith significantly improved mechanical components. The 3.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine was coupled to an all-new, six-speed manual transaxle. Over a four-year span (1991 to 1995), a mere 2,234 examples were sent to the United States. A total of 12,776 examples were built in total, with 5,353 in 1992, 3,783 in 1993, 2,484 in 1994, and 1,156 in its final year. The 968 was Porsche's last front-engine vehicle of any type before the introduction of the Cayenne SUV in 2003.

This particular 1992 Porsche 968 has a manual transaxle and is the only known example finished in Turquoise Blue Metallic over Cashmere Beige upholstery. Options bestowed upon this 968 by the Porsche Exclusive Department include the dark rootwood gearshift knob. Recently, the car was given a major service.
