2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Coupe

Porsche unveiled the 911 GT3 RS in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show, followed by the Cayman GT4 at the same venue a year later. The latter was the first Cayman model to wear the 'GT' designation and its mid-mounted 385 horsepower naturally aspirated flat-six engine was borrowed from the 991.1 Carrera S. The suspension and steering were sourced from the GT3. On the exterior, the body received enlarged side-air inlets, a fixed wing, and more aggressive front fascia.

The Clubsport boosted the performance of the Cayman GT4 even further and was designed specifically for enthusiasts, amateur drivers, and privateer racing teams seeking a track-only experience. The CLubsport was devoid of unnecessary interior comfort items, reducing weight to a mere 2,866 lbs. Its mechanical specification included a six-speed, dual-clutch PDK transmission with locking differential, adjustable ABS brakes, GT3 Cup suspension components, an FIA-specification roll cage, and a fire-suppression system. The 3,800cc dual overhead camshaft flat 6-cylinder engine with Bosch Electronic fuel management system developed 385 horsepower at 7,400 RPM.

Porsche produced approximately 420 examples of the Cayman GT4 Clubsport, and the model was eligible for several race series around the world.

This particular example is finished in white and is equipped with a 70-liter (18.5-gallon) fuel tank. It was optioned with dual-zone climate control and an upgraded Recaro racing bucket seat with Schroth six-point harness. The car was delivered new to its current caretaker in April 2016. Currently, the Clubsport has 53 Km on its odometer.
