The 1906 Thomas Flyer 50HP was powered by a 522.7 cubic-inch T-head four-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission with two-wheel brakes. The 1907 sales catalogue boasted, 'You can't go by a Thomas Flyer, so go buy one!'
During the past six decades, this 1906 Thomas Flyer was in the care of William Fisk Harrah of Reno, Nevada, before entering the ownership of the 'Two Generations Collection.' It is believed that the car was originally delivered to California, as it wore a painted 'CAL 22' script on the rear of the bodywork when it first surfaced in the 1950s. John Krittenbrink of Oklahoma owned the Thomas Flyer during the 1950s, and it was one of the first automobiles to join the Harrah Collection, being acquired in the very early 1960s. The current caretakers purchased the car in 1986.
