1997 Acura Integra Type R Hatch Coupe

This Acura Integra Type R is one of 32 U.S.-market examples built in 1997. It is a left-hand drive example that was completed at the Suzuka, Japan plant in June 1997 and wore the only available color of Championship White (NH-0) over a black microsuede cloth interior. It came with optional air conditioning and was delivered to Mungenast Acura of St. Louis where it was purchased by its first owner for a sum of $23,100. The car remained with its original caretaker for the next twenty-two years, accumulating 6,190 miles during that period. In July 2019, the Acura returned to Mungenast Acura of St. Louis for a major service which included a new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, drive belts, a clutch adjustment, and an oil change. A short time later, it was purchased by an Illinois-based collector. The current owner has added 30 miles over the past three years.

This Acura currently has 6,220 miles on the odometer and rides on its original set of matching white 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires.
