1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast Navigation
This 1965 Ferrari is one of the first of twelve Ferrari 500 Superfast Series II examples built and one of 36 total Ferrari 500 Superfasts built by Pininfarina. It is powered by its original 4,963cc Colombo V-12 engine with three Weber twin-choke carburetors and paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. There are 34,779 miles on the odometer.
This Ferrari has a silver exterior, red interior, electric window lifts, air ducts in the front fenders, a Becker Europa AM/FM radio, Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes, and Borrani knock-off wire wheels.
This Ferrari was owned new by Barbara Woolworth Hutton, the Woolworth Five-and-Dime Heiress and Lance Reventlow's mother. It has been part of a private collection since 1999.
The mechanical restoration was performed by Sport Auto LTD of Ridgefield, Connecticut, and the bodywork and paint by Continental Auto of Portland, Connecticut.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2023
