1991 Isdera Imperator 108i Navigation
This Isdera Imperator 108i is one of 30 examples built and one of about a dozen 'first generation' examples with the original design that included fixed headlights. It is the last 'first generation' example built and was ordered at the start of 1990 and was anticipated for delivery in early 1991 to 'Isdera-Japan', although the ordering client is listed as Sunport London, Ltd. in the UK, 'Concessionaire: M. Thackwell.' Although at least one example was delivered to Japan, it is believed that this example was a 'European model delivery to the UK market.'
The car was built with the 5.0-liter Mercedes-Benz M119 V8, 'Code 960' engine, which offers well over 300 horsepower. The paint scheme was specified as 'Porsche Indish Rot,' or Guards Red, with a black leather interior and Recaro bucket seats.
By 2007, the car resided in the UK with Peter Hartnett of London and was registered with the number 'TEX 4.' It has since been housed in a private collection and currently has less than 3,500 kilometers on its odometer.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2023
