1905 Pierce-Arrow Great Arrow Navigation
A Great Arrow was the winner of the first $2,000 Glidden Trophy at the 1905 AAA Reliability Tour. The tour route was 870 miles, from New York City to Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. The trails were marked with confetti, which mischievous locals often moved, causing the drivers to become lost. The Great Arrow defended its Glidden Trophy for five consecutive years.

This 1905 Pierce-Arrow 40-P Great Arrow wears a Limousine body built by the Aluminum Company of America. It is powered by a T-head four-cylinder engine offering 40 horsepower. The 109-inch wheelbase is suspended via semi-elliptical leaf springs.
