1908 Sears Model J Autobuggy Runabout

    1908 Sears Model J Navigation
    Made and sold by Sears Roebuck and Company. They, like the International Harvester Company, re-adapted their best horse-drawn buggy, put a motor in it, and called it the Autobuggy. It has tiller steering and high wheels with solid tires. The Sears has a dual exhaust system. The two-cylinder, opposed, air-cooled gasoline engine produces approximately 14 horsepower. Produced by Sears and Roebuck Company of Chicago, Illinois, the Autobuggy had a base price of approximately $395.
