1931 Cadillac Series 355-A Eight Navigation
Cadillac introduced its V8 engine in 1915, growing to 355 cubic inches by 1931. The L-head unit delivered approximately 95 horsepower at 3,000 RPM and was paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The graceful hood was lengthened and given five-hood doors and one in the cowl. The styling of the bodies was modern, now resting slightly lower to the ground, with splash aprons, and dual chrome horns. On the interior, the dashboard was given an oval instrument cluster.
This particular 1931 Cadillac 355-A V8 wears a convertible coupe body created by Fleetwood. It has black-faced gauges and fine leather upholstery in a red hue.
