1916 Hispano Suiza Type 24 Navigation
This Hispano-Suiza Type 24 Roadster was manufactured in Barcelona in August 1916. The current owner acquired it in March 2013 in Úbeda, Andalucía, Spain, and the following month, it was registered in the UK as 'BF 6414.' Its 1,860cc L-Head four-cylinder engine has a single Hispano-Suiza carburetor and delivers 30 horsepower at 3,000 RPM. There is a four-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel mechanical drum brakes, a front beam axle, and a live rear axle. At the front is a brass radiator shell flanked by large, high-mounted headlamps.
While with the current owner, this Hispnao has received sympathetic overhauling with attention to the brakes, gearbox, and engine. There is a new mohair top, tires, and the interior has been re-trimmed.By Daniel Vaughan | Dec 2023
