1992 Lancia Hyena Coupe

This 1992 Lancia Hyena Zagato is one of 24 examples built between 1992 and 1994. It has had just two owners since new and currently has 31,200 km (around 19,387 miles) on its odometer. It has been given a complete restoration and uprated by marque specialists Italiamotorsport Parussini of Udine, Italy. Since that time, it has been driven less than 100 km.

This Hyena is the 18th example built. It was kept in storage until its import to the UK in 2001 by factory-appointed agents Walkers Garage of Northallerton, North Yorkshire. It originally wore a red exterior with a black interior.

The car entered the car of its first owner in April 2002, who would keep it for the next 19 years. It covered around 30,000 kilometers during that time and was shown at several high-profile events, including the Lancia Centenary celebrations in Torino in 2006, as well as in publications including Auto Italia and Viva Lancia.

The current owner purchased the Lancia near the close of 2021 and tasked Italiamotorsport Parussini to perform the restoration. The work took 12 months to complete, and when it was done, it wore a Grigio Alloy exterior with a turquoise Alcantara interior (the same type used on the limited-run 'Martini 6' Delta HF Integrale).

Remapping the engine boosted output to over 320 bhp (up from the standard 250 hp). A bespoke exhaust system was fitted to replicate the distinctive note achieved by the Group A Delta Integrale rally car. Performance was further increased by upgrading the suspension and brakes.
