2012 Lexus LFA Coupe

The Lexus LFA supercar was unveiled in 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show and came infused with a 4.8-liter V-10 engine built in the same facility as Toyota Racing's F1 V-10s. The engine was smaller than an equivalent V-8 and lighter than an equivalent V-6, and it could rev from idle to 9,000 rpm in just six-tenths of a second. It was paired with a quick-shifting six-speed automated sequential manual transmission.

The body design was penned in-house and manufactured with a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer frame coupled with aluminum, magnesium, and titanium alloys. It weighed just over 3,200 pounds with a near-perfect weight distribution of 48:52. Production was limited to 500 examples built between 2010 and 2012, with all examples labeled as 2012 products. Four-hundred and thirty-six examples were 'standard' LFA's, and the remaining 64 were 'Nürburgring Package' examples.

This Lexus LFA is serial number 188 and was sold new via Lexus of Westminster in California. It is believed to be one of approximately 27 US-market non-Nürburgring Package cars finished in Whitest White, accented by dark premium alloy wheels and matching red carbon-ceramic brake calipers. The bespoke interior is done in black leather for the upper dashboard and contrasting red leather for the door cards, center console, lower dashboard areas, and instrumental panel. The seats and steering wheel are trimmed in white, and the trim is made of high-gloss carbon fiber and anodized titanium.

This Lexas was stored within a climate-controlled garage in Southern California and has been kept in showroom condition throughout its lifetime. Wrapping is still present on the seats and the steering wheel and there are 47 miles on the odometer.
