1926 Pierce-Arrow Model 80 Runabout

The Pierce-Arrow Model 80 was introduced in the mid-1920s and intended as a more affordable vehicle within the company's line. With prices that began at over $5,250, the Pierce-Arrow vehicles were nearly $2,00 more than the entry-level Packards and Peerless. With the Model 80, Pierce-Arrow closed this gap and increased sales by a factor of eight in the first year.

This particular example is a Roadster owned by the estate of Conrad Fletcher. It wears an older restoration with a color scheme of cream with black fenders and beltline over blue button-tufted upholstery. It rides on artillery wheels that are finished in a shade of dark blue and wrapped with whitewall tires. Beneath the bonnet is a 4.7-liter L-head inline six-cylinder engine fitted with an updated Zenith carburetor, new spark plugs, and an electric fuel pump.
