1900 Packard Model B Navigation
This 1900 Model B was the tenth Packard built in Warren, Ohio. It was sold new to George Blackmore, a Painesville, Ohio businessman. He drove the car home from the factory accompanied by Henry Schryver, head machinist from the plant, who taught him to drive and do basic maintenance on his new automobile. Blackmore soon became the first agent to sell Packards outside the factory.
The Model B was powered by a single-cylinder, 9-horsepower engine displacing 142.6 cubic inches. It had a planetary transmission with two forward speeds, wire-spoke wheels, and 34x3 single-tube tires.
