1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 Series AMG Widebody Coupe

This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 CE-24 AMG 'Wide-Body' was given power adjustable, heated front seats with memory, air conditioning, electric sunroof, rear headrests, cruise control, and power windows in left-hand drive configuration. Delivered to Japan when new, it traveled approximately 1,300 kilometers before it was taken to AMG Japan for cosmetic improvements, most notably the complete wide body upgrade. The widened quarter panels housed a staggered set of 17-inch AMG Aero III three-piece wheels. It was given AMG bumpers, with the front gaining new side skirts and a set of fog lights. The rear was given a spoiler. AMG interior upgrades included the new RECARO 'Idealsitz C (81)' bucket seats, and white instrument faces with a 300 km/h AMG-branded speedometer framed by a smaller diameter red leather four-spoke AMG steering wheel.

This 300 CE-24 AMG 'Wide-Body' spent most of its existence in Japan. In March 2023, it was exported to the United Arab Emirates, where it was restored to its current condition by a marque specialist under the direction of the car's current owner. The body was refinished to its current color of Signal Red, and the interior was given new cream-colored Italian leather with red carpeting and accents.

After the restoration, the car was sent to the United States in 2023. Currently, this AMG's odometer shows just over 50,000 kilometers.
