1997 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

The Type 993 was introduced in 1993 and signaled a return to basics, free of extraneous bits to spoil its lines. It was given a new light-alloy sub frame, an all-new multi-link suspension, and was the first 911 to receive a six-speed transmission. The engine gained variable intake and sophisticated modern electronic management. The 3.6-liter engine came in naturally and turbocharged configuration, two- and four-wheel drive, and coupe and cabriolet body styles.

This 1997 Type-993 Carrera Cabriolet wears an Arctic Silver Metallic exterior and is fitted with a six-speed manual transmission. It is recently out of long-term single ownership and currently has 53,100 miles on its odometer. It has a host of optional extras including the 'Motor Sound Package,' 18-inch 'Technology' wheels, limited slip differential, Technic Package, heated supple leather front seats, power seat package, Hi Fi sound, and more.

The car was purchased in 2022 by its current caretaker.

This Porsche has a dark blue canvas soft top, blue leather upholstery, and silver paintwork. The 3,600cc air-cooled single overhead camshaft flat six-cylinder engine has computer-controlled port injection and delivers 222 horsepower at 6,300 RPM.
