1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Navigation
The Rolls-Royce Silver Could III was the company's first to wear quad headlights and came standard with an automotive transmission. Among its catalog body style options were new drophead coupe and fixed head coupe designs by Norwegian stylist Vilhelm Koren. Styling features included canted headlamp nacelles and flared rear fenders.
This Rolls-Royce is one of fifty-two left-hand-drive Silver Cloud III drophead coupes produced with coachwork by Mulliner Park Ward. It is a U.S. specifications example with a Dawn Blue exterior over Bluff leather interior, and equipped with Sundym tinted glass, power side windows and top, and Blaupunkt New Yorker radio with Hirschmann electric antenna. After it was completed in the autumn of 1965, it traveled across the Atlantic and was delivered by Charles H. Hornburg, Jr., Motor Cars to Curt R. Strand of Beverly Hills.
While in the care of its previous owner, this Rolls-Royce was meticulously restored. It currently wears its original colors and remains in excellent overall condition throughout.
