1976 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Coupe

This Lamborghini is one of 150 examples built of the original production Countach Periscopica. It is the only LP400 example originally finished in the livery of vivid Arancio (orange) paint over blue leather and Alcantara interior.

This Lamborghini was sold in April 1976 via Marcel Willemin, the marque's official agent in Geneva, Switzerland, to client Gerard Muller. Two years later, the Lamborghini was sold to a collector in Japan. It returned to Europe in 1981, where its bodywork was updated to the appearance of an LP400S, including repainting the car in white. It remained in Europe over the ensuing years, largely hidden from view in Germany and Belgium. In mid-2007, the car entered the care of its current European owner. A rotisserie restoration soon commenced with Roberto Lodi, a senior technician at Lamborghini's official service facility in Crevalcore, Italy, performing a complete engine rebuild along with many other mechanical components.

After the restoration was completed, the car was featured in the January 2011 issue of Classic & Sports Car magazine.
