1931 Cadillac Series 370-A Twelve Navigation
The introduction of the V-12 model within the Cadillac line in 1931 was just a year after the arrival of the company's V-16 model. The V-12 was based on the same architecture and had a displacement size of 370 cubic inches. The engine was smooth and well-balanced, and produced 135 horsepower. Priced at around $2,500 less than its V-16 sibling, the V12 was an appealing option for many who were beginning to feel the 'pinch' caused by the Great Depression.
This Seven-Passenger Imperial Sedan is one of approximately 600 examples produced to this design (style number 31-163) by Fisher. It retains its original engine (number 1002858) and body (number 351), and was original ordered through the Westcott Burlingame dealership of Albany, New York, finished in a color combination of black and Viceroy Maroon. It had black wire wheels, metal covers, mirrors, adn a Heron radiator ornament.
This Cadillac was given a restoration by the current caretaker and finished in the correct colors. It has many original accessories and was updated lightly with a Goddess mascot.
