1923 Ford Model TT United Parcel Truck Navigation
Like their Model T passenger cars, Ford trucks were popular because they were rugged, reliable, and inexpensive to buy and operate. To enhance marketability, Ford offered their commercial vehicles in a variety of configurations, including open or closed cab. This delivery truck, an open cab model, was fitted with an enclosed cargo box and was originally used by United Parcel Services (UPS) to deliver packages. A retired UPS employee restored the truck then donated it to the company in appreciation for his rewarding career. It was acquired by the current owner, a descendent of one of the three founders of UPS, after the firm went public.
