1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Momo Edition Navigation
In 1999 (the final year for the Diablo VT Roadster), the Lamborghini Diablo Roadster MOMO Edition was introduced by Mario Andretti at the Running of the Bulls between Beverly Hills and Monterey. There were only 12 examples created with six painted in 3-layer Giallo Flash (pearl yellow) and the other half in 3-layer Rosso Vik, a metallic red.
The Diablo VT (Viscous Traction) had an all-wheel drive system. There were less than 200 examples of the VT produced during its four-years of production.
Mounted mid-ship was a V12 engine with variable valve timing and an available 530 horsepower. There was a removable carbon fiber roof section.
The MOMO edition featured special interior, badges, Momo gear shift knob, chromed factory Roadster wheels, and more. When new, they sold for $275,000.By Daniel Vaughan | Jul 2008
