1939 Chrysler Royal Windsor Navigation
The company was founded by Walter P. Chrysler on June 6, 1925, when the Maxwell Motor Company was reorganized into the Chrysler Corporation.
Chrysler has been one of the most impressive automobile manufacturers to date. For almost a century, Chrysler products have been considered to be some of the most competitive and sought-after models in history.
The Chrysler Royal was produced by the Chrysler Division of the Chrysler Corporation from 1937 to 1942 and 1946 to 1950. The Royal represented the base trim Chrysler during its production, making it the most affordable Chrysler model.
In 1939 Chrysler contracted with Hayes Bodies of Michigan to build 1,000 coupe bodies. Out of the 1,000 coupes they produced 373 Chrysler Royal Windsors. The main difference between the coupes was the changes made to the windows. This made the Royal appear 'Art Deco.' The Royal was equipped with a new design 'Gold Seal' six-cylinder engine that developed 95 horsepower.
This vehicle has a wheelbase of 121.5 inches, a length of 210.7 inches, and a width of 77.8 inches. The Chrysler Royal weighs approximately 3527 pounds.
