1955 Imperial Series C69 Hardtop Coupe

This example spent twenty-seven years in storage before being treated to a body-on restoration. It is painted in black and has period style gold stripe tries and steel wheels with full chrome wheel covers. The interior features black leather upholstery with red cloth inserts, a red headliner, and a red dash panel. It is well equipped with amenities such as factory-installed air conditioning, a heater, a defroster, power windows, and a power-operated front seat.

It is powered by a 331 cubic-inch 'FirePower' V8 engine and matted to a two-speed, fully automatic 'Power-Flite' transmission.

In 2008 this 1955 Chrysler Imperial Newport Two-Door Hardtop was brought to RM Auctions 'Vintage Motor Cars of Meadow Brook' where it was estimated to sell for $45,000 - $65,000. As bidding came to a close, the lot had been sold for $49,500, including the buyer's premium.
