1926 Oakland Six Series Landau Sedan

This was the first year for the Oakland Company, which created Pontiac. Pontiac made a smaller version of this model Oakland. Oakland had four-wheel brakes; Pontiac had 2-wheel brakes. Oakland had a one-piece engine head, while Pontiac had a smaller engine with a split head.

This car has optional Shock Absorbers, Bumpers, and a Decorative Windshield wing. The car took two years to restore and was completed in 1990. Original Corduroy weave fabric was used for the interior. The wood is all original to the car.

The current owner purchased the car from John Armstrong in 2006, who did the original restoration and the car has the original Title and Bill of Sale. It sold for $1,095 in 1926. It received a POCI Senior award in 2007.
