The BT6 was the final Brabham Formula Junior. It was conventional in its design, robust in construction, easy to work on, and very competitive. It was a popular privateer car in period and remains a very desirable vintage racer. The Cosworth/Ford MAE 1100cc engine offered 120 horsepower and was mated to a Hewland MK9 5-speed transmission.
