1972 Brabham BT37

Brabham BT37 with chassis number BT-37-02 made its racing debut at the Belgian Grand Prix being driven by Carlos Reuteman. The Cosworth DFV V8 engine carried the BT-37 to a 13th overall finish. Its next race, at the French Grand Prix, it improved slightly by finishing in twelfth. Reuteman managed an 8th place finish at the British Grand Prix followed by three DNFs. A very impressive 4th was earned at the Canadian Grand Prix in September of 1972, its best finish of the season.

Over the next two seasons, the car was driven by Reuteman, Graham Hill, Andrea de Adamich, John Watson, and Geoff Rollason. It was raced in Grand Prix competition during the 1972 and 1973 season. In 1974 and 1975 it raced in the RAC British Hill Climb Championship at Prescott, Wiscombe Park, and Shelsley Walsh.
