1910 Maxwell Model E Navigation
Found in West Chester Carriage House in 1935 and first restored in 1940. This very original Maxwell has given its owners years of pleasurable driving and showing. It's now undergoing its third restoration to high-quality show standards. The car still features all original components such as the carburetor, ignitions, muffler etc. All details and finish are as Maxwell built it at their Tarrytown N.Y. plant in 1910.
Honors
In 1909 Alice Hyler Ramsey and three female companions drove a similar Maxwell Cross Country, to be the first woman to do so. Considering there were no roads, highways or service facilities beyond town limits, this was quite a feat for Mrs. Ramsey and her Maxwell.

The Maxwell for 1911 is out! And again, it has broken all precedents for the tremendous value it offers in a car of moderate price. It has always been big and roomy. It has always been known for its reliability at all times - its wonderful durability - its mechanical simplicity. In every respect, it has always stood head and shoulders above other cars selling at anywhere near the price. But this year, the strikingly attractive designs of the Maxwell and its many added refinements of equipment have created a still higher standard of Maxwell value.
Rational Speed, Luxurious Comfort
We believe in uniformity. The Maxwell is not built for speed to the exclusion of more vital motor requirements. Beautiful appearance has not alone been attained to the sacrifice of mechanical efficiency. Our idea is equal reliability and superiority in every part - in a word - composite perfection. That's why the Maxwell doesn't break down first here and then there like many cars. They give years of staunch, durable service - have an abundance of power - offer all the speed of any sane driver could ask for or use.
