1957 Ferrari 250 TR Navigation
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa with chassis number 0756TR 75 is a Scaglietti Left-hand-drive Spyder. Its first owner was Dick Morgensen of the United States who actively campaigned the car in many east-coast competition events. In 1959, it took first place, six out of the nine races it entered. It finished in second twice and fourth once in 1959.
It passed through a couple of owners before becoming the possession of Louis Sellyei Jr., during the 1970's. Sellyei raced the car during the 1980's at the Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca. In 1984, Phil Hill was given the opportunity to drive the vehicle at Monterey Historics. The car has competed in many historic races, mostly Monterey, since the 1980s. It competed in the Colorado Grand and Mollie Stone Wine Country Classic at Sears Point.
In 2002 ownership was transferred to Carlos Hank-Rhon of Mexico. The car has since appeared at the 2004 Monterey Historic Races and the 2007 Cavallino Classic.By Daniel Vaughan | May 2007
