1960 Porsche 356B Super 90 Navigation
This 1960 Porsche 356B Super 90 Coupe was the first Super 90 constructed and used by the factory as a demonstration vehicle. It was constructed on September 17th of 1959 and carries chassis number 108921. It is powered by a 1582-cc four-cylinder engine that produces 90 horsepower. There are four-wheel drum brakes, 4-speed manual gearbox, and an independent suspension in both the front and the rear.
This car has US-specification gauges, Blaupunkt radio, and a factory sunroof. It is finished in factory code 6004 Ivory paint. This is a very rare and unique automobile that was offered for sale at the 2006 Gooding & Company Auction held in Pebble Beach, CA. It was offered without reserve and estimated to sell for $30,000-$40,000. The car did find a new owner who was willing to pay a higher price than the estimated value just to get an opportunity to own the car.
