This Buick Century Estate Wagon has less than 48,000 miles on the odometer. It was custom-built by the Joseph Wildanger Company of Red Bank, New Jersey, using a using a steel Fisher body combined with wooden coachwork. The he company switched to the production of truck bodies after 1940, when many American automobile manufacturers began to produce their own wood-bodied cars in-house.
This car has been given a complete restoration and remains in excellent condition. It has attractive bright-work, wide whitewall tires and brown leather bench seats. The exterior is a maroon finish with wooden bodywork. The engine is an inline eight-cylinder engine that displaces 320 cubic-inches and offers 141 horsepower. There is a three-speed sliding gear manual transmission and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.
