    1913 Argo Model B Navigation
The Argo Electric was not one's typical electric automobile. It had a longer wheelbase than other electric cars and Gemmer wheel steering, shaft drive, and Cutler-Hammer interlocking foot controls.

The roadster body style shown here was a new addition to the Argo Electric lineup for 1913. However, the reality was that the popularity of the electric car was already in decline. The internal combustion motor had become far more popular.

Interestingly, there was also an Argo built that was powered by an internal combustion motor. That car, from the same company, was built in Jackson, Michigan, while the electric car was built in Saginaw, Michigan.
