1957 Buick Series 50 Super Hardtop Coupe

Buick's Super series was the 'big Buick' for the budget minded customer. The Super shared some of the features found on the more expensive Roadmaster series such as exterior trim and the instrument panel and was built on the Roadmaster's 127.5 inch wheelbase chassis.

This Super hardtop features an uncommon two-tone paint combination: Belmont Green and Kearney Green Iridescent.

The car was sold new in Oakland, California and many of the original service receipts remain with the car, as well as the original owner's manual and service handbooks.

During the 1954 production year Buick became the first automaker to build 500,000 hardtops, such as this example. Overall, Buick was number three in United States auto sales for 1954 with sales of 444,609 units.
