In 1955 this was the most expensive Ferrari available; the 410 Superamerica replaced the 375 America after just only eleven examples had been made. Both cars belonged to Ferrari's flagship America series, offering the highest levels of sophistication, exclusivity and performance. Built as the ultimate grand tourer, each car was custom ordered and received a unique body. Many were made for auto shows or for Ferrari's best clients. This is one of just thirty-six Superamericas built by Pinin Farina. It is unique in having an elongated hood scoop, larger rear taillights and larger Marchal driving lights. Now fully restored, this Ferrari has been returned to its original Rosso Metalizzato body color.
