1937 Alfa Romeo 6C 2300B Navigation
Most of the Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 chassis were bodied by local Milan coachbuilders like Touring and Castagna, but a few chassis were sent to the Turin-based workshop of Pinin Farina. This 6C 2300B Pescara is a great example of the aerodynamic styling of the second half of the 1930s. It was named for the time when Alfa Romeo 6C 2300s filled all the podium places at the Pescara-Targa Abruzzo 24 Hour race. Completed in 1937, this unique Pinin Farina Speciale was shown at that year's Turin Concours d'Elegance where it won the first prize in its class. Fully restored by its current owner, this rare Alfa Romeo re-appeared at the 2008 Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza.
