This Mustang was built by Ford's specialty shop, Kar Kraft, for Shelby Racing to compete in the 1968 SCCA TransAm Series Championship. This factory TransAm team car won the 1968 Riverside, California TransAm race and was driven by Horst Kweck.
After the 1968 season, it was sold, with help from Allen Moffit, to Bob Jane to race in Australia. It returned to the United States in the early 1980s.
A painstaking, two-year, ground-up restoration was just recently completed at 3 Dog Garage in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.
