1956 Chrysler New Yorker Navigation
This 1956 Chrysler is powered by the overhead-valve, 354 cubic-inch, Hemi V-8 engine, developing 340-355 horsepower and has a top speed of 130 mph. It is equipped with a pushbutton-controlled automatic transmission and the pushbuttons are located on the left side of the dashboard.
This New Yorker convertible features an unusual curved one-piece rear window. It is equipped with power steering, brakes, windows, and seats. It has a Hi-Fi record player and dual exhausts.
The current owner acquired the car in 1988 in an original, unrestored condition, but in need of restoration. The next 15 years were spent collecting the parts needed to fully restore the car. A full frame-off restoration was started in 2003 and completed in 2009.
