1913 Packard Model 38 Navigation
The Model I-38 Packard was introduced in December of 1912 as an entry-level Packard but was built with the same 'quality at all cost' as the more expensive models. This Packard Model 38 Touring car was given a restoration around the late 1990s. Since then, it has been well cared for and rarely driven. It is painted in dark Packard blue with black fenders. The body moldings are in contrasting black with straw striping. The black canvas top is new, the seats are upholstered in dark crimson, button-tufted leather, and the brightwork is unblemished and shines brightly.
In 2010, This Model 38 was offered for sale at RM Auctions 'Automobiles of Amelia Island' sale where it was estimated to sell for $300,000 - $400,000. As bidding came to a close, the car had failed to meet its reserve after achieving a high bid of $250,000.By Daniel Vaughan | Dec 2011
