In the affected vehicles, the underbody aluminum reference plates used when lifting the vehicle may corrode and detach from the vehicle. |
| Consequence | If these jacking plates separate from the vehicle while driving, they may be a road hazard, potentially striking another vehicle, and increasing the risk of a crash. |

In the affected vehicles, the fuel tank gauge may indicate that there is more fuel in the tank than there actually is. |
