The M-Sport World Rally Team Ford Fiesta RS WRC of Elfyn Evans will be wrapped with a special livery at this week's Wales Rally GB. Supporting Autosport International, Evans' crowd-pleasing car will be carrying the show's distinctive logo.

The collaboration between M-Sport and Autosport International signals the team's announcement that they will be presenting their products and expertise at the show, which takes place between January 14 and 17, 2016.

Ian France, Show Director, Autosport International, said: 'We are really excited at the opportunity in our 25th anniversary year for Autosport International to support M-Sport at Wales Rally GB - Britain's round of the World Rally Championship. It's an event M-Sport has won four times in the last ten years with both the Ford Focus RS and Fiesta RS with Marcus Gronholm, Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala.

'Following his recent second place finish on the Tour de Corse Rallye, there will be fantastic support for local hero Elfyn Evans from thousands of rally fans and spectators hoping he returns a winner to the Service Park in Deeside on Sunday afternoon'.

Widely recognised as the traditional start to the motorsport season, Autosport International attracts teams and fans in their thousands and M-Sport will once again have a strong presence. A number of M-Sport products will be displayed with engineers and sales representatives on-hand to provide the very best advice and guidance ahead of the new season.

Last year saw the team showcase the 100th Ford Fiesta R5 in a striking gold and black livery. This year, the British firm has further plans afoot, which will be revealed in due course.

M-Sport Managing Director, Malcolm Wilson OBE, said: 'Autosport International truly marks the start of the motorsport season. The event has gone from strength to strength in recent years and I am happy to announce that we will have a strong presence in 2016.

'The show really is a great showcase for motorsport and we have ventured into collaboration with the organisers to build excitement in anticipation of its traditional start date in early-January.

'Elfyn's Fiesta RS WRC will boldly display the event's branding throughout this weekend's Wales Rally GB. As the only Welsh driver in the WRC's top flight, Elfyn's Fiesta will be one of the most photographed cars in the event and we hope this collaboration will build enthusiasm ahead of what is one of the biggest events of the year – Autosport International 2016.'

Tickets for Autosport International start from £35pp for a Standard pass (£23pp for children between 6-15yrs) and are available through the Autosport International website at www.autosportinternational.com.
