London, 2nd March 2017. Leading luxury dealer group H.R. Owen is set to put every Ferrari racing enthusiast's dream piece of memorabilia back on the road – a stunning replica Formula One car from Michael Schumacher's 2001 heyday.

From 12pm-3pm on Saturday 4 March, H.R. Owen will bring the iconic racer out of its South Kensington showroom and on to the street for enthusiasts to enjoy first-hand.

H.R. Owen's model is one of Ferrari first-ever replicas, having been used throughout the 2001 Formula One season as an event and pit show car.

Schumacher completely dominated the sport in 2001, winning nine races and securing the Drivers' Championship a massive 58 points ahead of nearest competitor, David Coulthard.

While Schumacher was enjoying chequered flag after chequered flag, he was being followed by a replica racer than would steal the show in the pits and at events all around the globe.

That replica now sits proudly inside H.R. Owen Ferrari in South Kensington, but its return to the tarmac on Saturday 4 March is sure to cause a big stir in west London.

The replica from Schumacher's heyday isn't the only F1 model that H.R. Owen Ferrari has in its armoury, either, as the showroom is also home to a replica from the 2015 Formula One season.

Sebastian Vettel's debut year for the marque alongside Kimi Raikkönen, 2015 saw Ferrari come second in the Constructors' championship and cement its position as a Formula One superpower.

H.R. Owen Ferrari was awarded the replica show model after being crowned 2015's Global Dealer of the Year, with the car now acting as the ultimate symbol of brand excellence.

James Champion, Ferrari Brand Director, said: 'We're incredibly excited to take the Schumacher replica car back out on the road and give enthusiasts the chance to enjoy it first-hand. Purchasing the car took a long time to get over the line, but having witnessed something special with Schumacher behind the wheel, it was something we had to be a part of. Now we can't wait to share it with fans outside our showroom and give them a glimpse into Ferrari F1 history.'
