SsangYong Motors UK is delighted to welcome DS Dalgleish & Son to the brand. It's range of 4x4s and SUVs is now available from the dealership which operates from its premises in Coldstream.

Nick Laird, managing director of SsangYong Motor UK said: 'On the back of the hugely successful launch of new Rexton and Musso pick-up, we have been looking to attract new dealers. The brand is committed to long term investment in new products and will see at least one new model launched each year through to 2022. We are especially delighted that DS Dalgleish & Son has decided to add the brand to their dealership in Coldstream.'

DS Dalgleish & Son, which was founded by David Dalgleish in 1968, held the Datsun franchise by 1972 in Galashiels, and still represents Nissan today. After further expansion in 1996, and with the purchase of its Coldstream facility, DS Dalgleish added the Citroen franchise in 1997. Since then the dealership has also added the Subaru and Fiat Service franchise to its portfolio in Galashiels.

Barry Dalgleish, dealer principal at DS Dalgleish, said: 'We're very excited to be joining SsangYong. We were attracted to the brand by exciting new vehicles that have started coming through from Korea.'

Barry continued; 'SsangYong has a great product range, and with very competitive pricing and a 7-years/150,000 miles warranty. We believe it will do extremely well in our area and we look forward to growing our business as a result.'

SSANGYONG WARRANTY

Wearable components such as clutch discs and brake friction materials which could have their life reduced by poor driving are covered for one year or 12,500 miles, and the battery and paintwork for three years.

Made in Korea

SsangYong cars are manufactured in South Korea by SsangYong Motor, which is 75 per cent owned by the Indian engineering conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra and imported into the UK by SsangYong Motor UK. Established in 1954, SsangYong is Korea's oldest vehicle manufacturer and only 4x4 and SUV specialist producer. There are currently some 65 SsangYong dealers covering England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with new locations being added to the network all the time.
