Richard Micheal Owen was our ambassador at this year's 'The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering,' capturing the event through photographs and video. His video 'walk through' highlights many of the vehicles that were on display at Monterey Car Week's most exclusive event, held on the golf course of the renowned Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel, California.
A few of the cars highlighted in the video:

This Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe is the 1961 New York Auto Show coupe and it sat alongside three other E-Types. Chassis number 885004 differs slightly from the later production cars, although the overall design remained largely unchanged until its replacement in 1975.

After the Paris show, this Ferrari 410 Superamerica Speciale Coupe was sold to William Doheny of Beverly Hills, California, and later, actor Jackie Cooper. Two more Superfast prototypes were built before the name was used on the 500 Superfast launched in the 1960s. This Ferrari has remained in the United States ever since and was acquired by its current owner in 2004.
This Fiat 8V is the third of 24 bodied by Zagato. The rolling chassis was delivered in September of 1953 to the coachbuilder, where it was fitted with a sleek lightweight aluminum body with some extra race features. Its first owner, Lumir Vesely, an entrepreneur from Milan, raced the car extensively in 1955 and 1956, including the Mille Miglia twice.
A detailed report, including 'deep dives' of many of the vehicles in attendance, will follow shortly. For now, enjoy the video.
